Amber Ruffin

Amber Ruffin is a writer/ performer on Late Night With Seth Meyers. She is the first Black woman to write for a late night network talk show. She spent almost a decade writing and improvising at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam and The Second City. She wrote for the Comedy Central show, Detroiters and the HBO show A Black Lady Sketch Show. She is also a regular narrator on Drunk History. Amber writes musicals in her spare time. Recently, she worked with the original writer to rewrite the musical The Wiz.
